Mike Kickham is the President and Founder of Porter Kickham. He has dedicated his professional life to bringing our clients the objective standards of the Uniform Prudent Investment Act as a way to assist them in getting the real return from the capital markets. These standards derive from a law specifically designed to preserve and protect family wealth over many decades.
Mike holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and has 26 years in the financial industry. He helps clients and some charities fund their goals for financial independence, wealth accumulation and for providing for future generations.

Robin Carnahan, Missouri’s Secretary of State appointed Mike to the Securities Advisory Committee in 2007.

His work on that committee helps legislators understand the intricacies of various investment products so that they may better protect consumers and investors throughout the state. Within the financial planning profession, he has served as President of the Financial Planners Association of Missouri and Southern Illinois and has been appointed to a number of national committees in the National Financial Planners Association. Money Magazine asked Mike to do a financial makeover for a local couple in Illinois. He has been mentioned in Investment Advisor, an industry periodical and is frequently quoted by local newspapers.
